My Story

Stephanie, a Colorado native, grew up skiing in the Rocky Mountains and working at her family's small business. She went on to attend the University of Denver, earning a degree in accounting, and shortly after graduation, she became a certified public accountant (CPA). With over a decade of experience in upstream oil & gas and a Master of Science in Global Energy Management from CU Denver, Stephanie moved to The Woodlands, Texas in 2016 to join a prominent SAAS company (ask her about the story of accepting this job!). Since then, she has worked closely with clients in the oil & gas, banking, and wealth management sectors, gaining a deep understanding of their businesses and optimizing their workflows. In 2022, Stephanie founded First Approach with a vision to provide clients with effective and affordable solutions, all while prioritizing exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
